Set VBA project properties
- [Instructor] Writing VBA code using the Visual Basic Editor isn't difficult, but the labels Excel uses to identify and describe your code, it can be pretty generic. You can make your code easier to work with by changing the name of the VBA project and by protecting your workbooks code. I'll show you how to perform those tasks in this movie. My sample file is 01_04_Properties and you can find it in the chapter one folder of the Exercise Files collection. This workbook has a worksheet that contains some data but honestly I just have it here so you have something to look at. I'll press Alt F11 to move to the Visual Basic Editor and we can start working with the VBA properties of this workbook. So I'll press Alt F11 and there we go. We're in the Visual Basic Editor. If you want to identify properties for your entire VBA project, not just the code that you see here, you can go to the tools menu and click VBA Project…
