- [Instructor] Welcome to another tip and trick for AutoCAD. Now, we are in the latest version of AutoCAD for this particular tip and trick, and we're an AutoCAD 2025. Now, we do have a drawing for you. It's in the library. It's called 373-Content Reuse.dwg. And what we're going to take a look at is the new Smart Blocks technology available in AutoCAD 2025. And we're going to be looking at the detect and convert option. Now, this is really clever because what AutoCAD can do in 2025 is it can find objects and you can convert them to blocks, for example. So you can see here that we've got a nice big office layout in our model tab. Make sure you're in the model tab. And you'll also notice I'm on layer 0 right now. Now, I'm just using layer 0 because it's the default layer in AutoCAD. Now, obviously there's a lot of blocks and objects in this drawing, but what you want to be able to do is locate objects that can be converted to perhaps a block instead of a group of polylines, or lines…
