We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Business Development and Account Management to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

About the Role:

The Vice President of Business Development and Account Management will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our portfolio companies by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and managing key accounts. This individual will be responsible for leading business development initiatives, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our portfolio companies.

Responsibilities:

Business Development:

Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and potential investment targets.

Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve growth objectives.

Conduct market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape.

Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential investment opportunities.

Collaborate with the investment team to assess and pursue new deals.

Account Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for key portfolio companies.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with portfolio company executives and stakeholders.

Ensure the successful execution of business plans and growth strategies for portfolio companies.

Monitor the performance of portfolio companies and provide strategic guidance and support.

Identify and address any issues or challenges faced by portfolio companies.

Strategic Partnerships:

Establish and nurture strategic partnerships to drive growth and value creation.

Negotiate and manage partnership agreements and contracts.

Collaborate with partners to develop and implement joint initiatives.

Leadership and Team Collaboration:

Lead and mentor a team of business development and account management professionals.

Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including investment, finance, and operations, to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business development, account management, or a related role, preferably within the .

Proven track record of identifying and closing new business opportunities.

Strong relationship-building and client management skills.

Excellent strategic thinking and analytical abilities.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
