Job Overview: As a Junior Unity Developer at Okron Studio, you will play a crucial role in the development of our games. You will work closely with our senior developer and designers to implement game features, optimize performance, and create stunning visual effects using shaders. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and talented individual to grow their skills and contribute to exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the development team to implement gameplay systems and mechanics.
Develop, optimize, and maintain shaders for various game elements.
Assist in the integration of assets and the development of game features.
Work with Unity’s Data-Oriented Technology Stack (DOTS) to enhance game performance (knowledge of DOTS is a huge bonus).
Debug and resolve technical issues as they arise.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall codebase quality.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our games remain cutting-edge.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proficiency in Unity and C# programming.
Knowledge of shader programming (HLSL, GLSL, or ShaderLab).
Understanding of gameplay systems and mechanics.
Familiarity with Unity’s Data-Oriented Technology Stack (DOTS) is a huge bonus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
