Our client is a well-established full services multifamily CRE group that spans the US. They are currently seeking an experienced FHA/HUD Multifamily Loan Underwriter to join their team, fully remote for the right fit.
Ideally seeking 5+ years of experience working within FHA/HUD multifamily underwriting
LEAN and/or MAP certification are a major plus
They're ideally looking for someone who is getting closer to their MAP Underwriting status
Some responsibilities include:
Analyze, interpret, and underwrite multifamily real estate transactions in compliance with respective agency guidelines (FHA)
Manage entire underwriting process to ensure all FHA/HUD loans are underwritten properly and appropriate commitments are issued in a timely manner
Problem solve and exercise independent judgement while effectively identifying and mitigating transactional risks
Display a high degree of initiative and accuracy
Organize and prioritize projects; complete multiple tasks on schedule
Conduct detailed economic and demographic research to determine feasibility of transactions
