About The Role
At the highest level, the core mission of the Technical Writer is to create and maintain well-structured, detailed, comprehensive, authoritative documentation of our product and operational processes.
Compensation for this role is between $35 - $50 an hour.
What You'll Do
Document products, features, APIs, and operational processes by collaborating with PMs, engineers, and operations professionals to collect product behavior and translate into concise documentation.
Create diagrams, flow charts, and screenshots as needed to provide clarity in documentation
Organize documentation and make it easily discoverable for internal and external audience
Maintain and update the information architecture of documentation repositories
Identify and flag gaps in documentation and maintain a prioritized backlog of documentation tasks
Qualifications
4+ years of Technical Writing experience at an enterprise software company
Can provide two samples of prior technical documentation you have written
Familiar with Confluence
