As a Supervisory Program Manager, You Will
- Provide supervisory direction, guidance, oversight, and quality review for the planning, development, implementation, and conduct of programs, projects, initiatives, and responsibilities within the office.
- Provide advice, guidance, coaching, leadership for subordinate supervisors and staff in program and project management, analysis, communication, decision-making, time-management, and proactivity.
- Initiate, recommend, design, and implement significant program improvements and other enhancements to streamline operations, optimize effectiveness in meeting established goals and objectives, improve the impact of programs, and resolve longstanding systemic issues.
- Plan, organize, and carry through to completion analytical studies involving the substance of key agency programs, operational processes using a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness.
- Represent the FTA Office of Civil Rights at national conferences and official trainings, and meetings with federal recipients, other federal departments and agencies, state and local governments, and stakeholder organizations.

- PROBATIONARY PERIOD: Applicants may be required to successfully complete a one-year probationary period (unless already completed).
- SUPERVISORY PROBATIONARY PERIOD: New supervisors must complete a 1-year probationary period (unless already completed).
- TELEWORK ELIGIBILITY: This position may be eligible for occasional and/or regularly scheduled telework. The number of telework days approved will be determined by your immediate supervisor or manager following the agency's telework policy and guidance. If participating in the telework program, you will be required to sign a telework agreement detailing agency telework policy requirements, working conditions, and expectations for the position.
