Role: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Location: Atlanta, GA

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
  • Implement and maintain logging solutions, with a preference for Sumologic experience.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure that new applications and services are designed for reliability and scalability.
  • Develop and implement strategies for disaster recovery and business continuity.
  • Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of incidents and implement measures to prevent recurrence.

Required Skills And Experience

  • Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role in a cloud environment.
  • Strong experience with AWS services and architecture.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools, particularly AWS CloudWatch.
  • Familiarity with Sumologic or similar logging tools is a plus.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools.
  • Knowledge of best practices in system reliability, availability, and performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
