Summary Of Position
As the Senior Director of Procurement, Distribution, and Supply Chain, you'll lead all aspects of our supply chain operations. This includes strategic procurement, efficient distribution, robust inventory management, and fostering strong supplier relationships. Your role will be pivotal in optimizing efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring top-notch quality and customer satisfaction.
Duties And Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with our business goals.
Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate supply chain activities with overall business objectives.
Oversee procurement activities, from vendor selection to contract negotiation and performance management.
Optimize inventory management to meet customer demands while minimizing costs.
Implement best practices in logistics and distribution for efficient product delivery.
Establish and monitor KPIs to drive supply chain performance improvements.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain leadership roles.
Proven track record of developing and implementing effective supply chain strategies.
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
