The role: The Scrum Master will work closely in sync with the development team, Product Owner as well as the entire organization in facilitating an agile development process, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of our products.
What you will do:
Conduct Scrum meetings and ceremonies, such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
Assist the product owner find techniques to effectively define the product goal and better manage the product backlog and help establish a practical process for product planning.
Ensure the development teams are practicing the core Agile values, practices and principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.
Partner with the development team to remove project impediments that stand in the way of the teams’ productivity and performance.
Design and execute all Scrum related documents, work product, templates, and models required.
Resolve conflict between the Development / Business Analyst(s) and Product Owner when goals begin or are diverging.
Navigate the team through the uncertainty, risk, and complexity and communicate the risks to required stakeholders.
Education and experience:
BS / BA degree or equivalent experience.
Certified Scrum Master preferred.
4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master for software development teams.
Experience with Agile development principles.
Experience with JIRA, implementation of workflows, KPI’s and reporting.
Proficient with a variety of Microsoft tools required (Word, Excel, Project, Visio, etc.)
Prior experience in the hospitality industry is a plus but not required.

Excellent organizational & analytical skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Creativity, problem-solving and innovative thinking.
Must be able to follow through on a project to a successful conclusion with a minimum of supervision. Must be able to identify and enlist the support of other employees as needed.

Core Business Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. M-F. Hybrid; these hours may vary depending upon your position and work requirements.

Location: Brentwood, TN, HYBRID (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
