We are seeking to add an energetic, thoughtful Recruiter who has enthusiasm for building candidate pipelines. We are Mather, an award-winning leader in the rapidly growing senior living industry, with services spanning from luxury senior living residences to community-based services and an in-house research team. In this role you will support Mather's locations in Illinois, Arizona, and Virginia by recruiting qualified talent who represent Mather's core values. The Recruiter is responsible for filling open positions, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing applicants.

This position is full-time, hybrid, and based out of our Headquarters in downtown Evanston, Illinois.

Essential Functions

  • Screens applicants for fit with current needs and conducts initial interview, forwarding qualified candidates to community HR Representative for interviews.
  • Consults with and updates hiring managers and candidates on selection process and recruitment status. May participate on selection team for final candidates.
  • Manages administrative functions related to employment, including applications, reference checks, and rejection letters. Assures smooth transition to HR Representative for offer and pre-employment screens.
  • Develops and implements strategies for proactively engaging individuals to generate interest in and referring others for employment at Mather.
  • Collaborates with HR staff to develop effective job postings, and networking strategies.
  • Identifies and proactively develops sources of top Maintains existing partnerships. Maintains existing partnerships.

Secondary Functions

  • Assures consistent and timely processing of new hires.
  • Maintains applicant tracking system.
  • Develops and implements various programs to encourage employee referrals.
  • Coordinates and conducts job fairs and presentations at various sites.
  • All other duties as assigned.
