The Professional Learning Specialist is a pedagogical expert, developing and organizing professional development for prospective and current clients. The goals of the Professional Learning department are to support change management for school districts, ensure content and product expertise for teachers and administrators, maintain customer feedback loop to the organization, and drive renewal sales of Core products.

Position Type: This is a regular, full-time position.

Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $63,410.00 and $80,000.00 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.

Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote from your home office, preferably on the East Coast.

Travel: You can also expect up to approximately 30-50% travel, so be sure you have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.

Envision Your Experience.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Collaborating with the Partner Engagement departments, create and refine an excellent client experience by providing deep knowledge, expertise, and consultation on K-12 mathematics and adult learning.
• Demonstrate subject matter expertise in learning, presenting, and providing in-service and professional development training for pre-kindergarten through 12th grade Mathematics.
• Define customer segmentation, strategies and support models and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Effectively navigates multiple steps in the training development process demonstrating the ability to influence learning outcomes.
• Builds trust and credibility with district leadership, teachers, and staff by ensuring that professional learning receives organized, exceptional professional development.
• Support a culture centered on partner success and develop processes that support the achievement of the business goals.
• Support certification and training to full and part-time Core Partner Engagement teams to scale delivery of professional learning.
• Travel to deliver high quality professional development sessions to schools and districts 30-50% possible travel.

Share Your Expertise.

Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant field, and a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in developing, delivering, and improving meaning professional learning experiences or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• A Master’s Degree in Education, Educational Technology or a relevant field is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and previous experience working with a Customer Relations Management (CRM) system.
• Ability to understand on-going market trends and align campaigns to relevant projects and programs.
• Strong relationship skills and previous experience working with district leaders with a consultative approach.
• Strong multi-tasking, project management, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to articulate instructional/technical concepts with clarity.
• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through.
• Deep knowledge of the Illustrative Mathematics product and problem-based mathematics pedagogy.
• Experience with Imagine Learning Classroom platform preferred.
