Role: Product Owner.

Location: San Diego, CA.

Type: Fulltime

Desired Skills And Experience

15+ years of Software experience with 3-4 years as Data Manager and 7-8 years on Data architecture, Data Strategy, ETL, Data modelling, Reporting and 1-2 years on cloud services.

Mandatory Skills

  • Proficient in handling the most complex technical development concepts, latest software tools and technologies, strong database concepts and designing techniques.
  • Understands different programming languages and ability to solve problems in coding, testing and deployment.
  • Possesses good knowledge of different software systems, client/server architectures and various compatibility requirements.
  • Experience in troubleshooting, software development processes and ability to understand and implement client requirements.
  • Strong with Project Management and project planning skills
  • Understand project requirements, coordinate with resources, and direct the projects in the right direction in a timely manner.
  • Ability to manage change and effectively pass on the information down the line to concerned teams for smoother execution.
  • Delegate and allocate responsibilities efficiently to manage projects end to end.
  • Good knowledge of SDLC for Data projects with good understanding of OLTP, Data Warehouse and Cloud Applications with both traditional and modern technological environment
  • Understanding of information systems and data life-cycle management best practices and methodologies, formal systems engineering life cycle (SELC), and systems development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Sound working knowledge of Waterfall as well as agile delivery models.
  • Well versed with Data compliance standards, Data Security like GDPR etc.
  • Sound concepts of RDBMS (SQL and Advanced SQL), Postgres SQL.
  • Sound knowledge of UNIX shell scripting, invoking and scheduling jobs and trap failure in Unix.
  • Strong Data modeling skills to Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts.

  • Well-developed analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent leadership skills with ability to lead, guide and groom the team.
  • Excellent team player, able to work with virtual teams.

  • Able to talk to client directly and report to client/onsite.
  • Flexibility to work on different Shifts and Stretch

Good To Have

  • PMP or Scrum Certified
  • Worked with Big Data
  • Worked on any cloud environment.
  • Working experience of multiple ETL, Reporting tool and Database
  • Certified from TDWI or Equivalent on Data Architect
