Executive Director Position, Erin’s Hope for Friends Kentucky
Erin's Hope for Friends Kentucky (EHFF KY) is looking for a qualified individual to serve as part-time Executive Director with the opportunity to develop into a full-time position. EHFF KY is a non-profit serving teens and young adults on the autism spectrum. Our charity is based on autism acceptance, kindness, and anti-bullying. As such, an Executive Director must exhibit good character and a strong commitment to the cause.
The role of Director includes 10-15 hrs/week. Responsibilities may be performed with flexible hours, remotely and on-site, as follows:
1) Oversee and expand revenue generating and fundraising activities to support program operations.
2) Oversee and evaluate program components and communicate quarterly progress with the board and funders. Identified priorities for growth and tracking include:
Community engagement and awareness
Increase e’s Club program participation
Further expand programming
Partnerships with outside organizations/companies
Donor, volunteer and member engagement
Expand funding resources
3) Assist the Board of Directors to maintain and support a strong board, including seeking and building board involvement with strategic direction.
4) Maintain effective communications through website, social media, program updates, and newsletters in coordination with the e’s Club Program Director.
5) Assist the board with financial oversight (bookkeeping, reimbursements, payroll, donor tracking) and attend and contribute to monthly board meetings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) and non-profit experience is preferred. Experience with or an interest in the autism community is also preferred. Candidate must have good organizational skills, strong written communication skills, effective interpersonal and leadership skills, and enthusiasm for public speaking/media appearances. Strong attention to detail is necessary, along with the ability to utilize various software and communication platforms.
