Role Overview
As a Junior Operations Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting project teams by providing crucial business analytics, ensuring effective project delivery, and identifying project risks. Operating in an agile environment, you will utilize your analytical prowess and leverage cutting-edge technology platforms to streamline division operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain tracking and forecasting reports for division leaders and stakeholders to facilitate business management.
Collaborate closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand complex business processes and define requirements.
Support Project Managers and Resource Management Leads by identifying and tracking project risks.
Evaluate operational needs and propose enhancement opportunities.
Analyze data, generate insightful reports, and recommend strategic improvements.
Optimize processes through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Coordinate with corporate IT and support teams to enhance portfolio performance tracking and resource management.
Assist the Resource Management team in day-to-day staffing assignments and monitor resource availability.
Escalate issues related to staffing, employee relations, and financial risk management.
Requirements
2+ years of consulting experience, with a focus on technology implementation and client interaction.
2+ years of experience in financial reporting and analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formula application and data manipulation.
Preferred Skills
Experience in staffing coordination and strategic project team support.
Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, SharePoint) and project management software.
Background in corporate-level operations support.
Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
