LHH is partnering with a client seeking a detail-oriented Temporary HR Data Entry associate to support payroll needs in Sterling, VA. This role is ideal for someone with a background in payroll processing or data entry and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will support our payroll department in ensuring accurate and timely payroll for our employees. This is a temporary assignment and will pay between : $20 - $21 per hour based on experience.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll for employees
  • Ensure payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
  • Maintain payroll records and files
  • Handle payroll discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Support with payroll-related inquiries from employees
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
  • Assist with the preparation of payroll reports as needed
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required by the payroll department


Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a payroll assistant or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
