Job Summary: We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to play a key role in the development and execution of visual assets for our company. The Graphic Designer will work closely with our design and marketing teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of visual excellence and align with our brand identity. This position is hybrid, with in office days T, W, Th, and remote days M & F. Must be willing to travel to the main office in Rockville, MD 3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
Design and create visual assets, including graphics, illustrations, and layouts, for various marketing materials, packaging, and digital platforms.
Manage brand consistency.
Collaborate with the design team to develop and maintain consistent brand guidelines across all visual materials.
Assist in the production and editing of product photography.
Conceptualizing visuals based on requirements.
Ensure that all design projects are completed on time and within budget, while maintaining a high level of quality.
Review and provide feedback on creative concepts to improve visual appeal and usability.
Prepare final production files and assets for printing, web, and other distribution channels.
Work closely with printers and vendors to ensure the quality and accuracy of printed materials.
Help maintain an organized digital asset library for easy access to design resources.
Assist in other design-related tasks and projects as needed.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in design and production techniques.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
2–3 years of proven experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role in a creative environment.
Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web.
Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
After Effects, Premiere, and/or Final Cut experience a plus, but not required.
Working knowledge of composition, components and concepts.
Strong understanding of print production processes and file preparation.
Strong understanding of digital assets requirements and file preparation.
Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
Demonstrate excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of digital and social media platform requirements.
Portfolio showcasing previous design work and projects.
