This mid-level position working mostly with large format interior branding and event graphics working with some of the largest brands, will be expected to take customer orders from concept to reality through the utilization of a wide range of computer software and through their interactions with other Company stakeholders. Have the ability to take Design Intent Documents and translate to graphic packages while staying within program guidelines. This position is also expected to effectively and professionally communicate with their internal customers to ensure project information is provided to customers and that both upstream and downstream, our graphic product lines and their production systems are as efficient as is possible.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (include But Are Not Limited To)
Design and produce various graphic projects including, but not limited to large format imagery/murals, concepts, aesthetic/interior branding signage, logos, vehicle wraps, banners and layout of internal marketing pieces
Design and produce graphic projects for seasonal events such as the Grand Prix, this requires additional hours, including evening and weekend work, generally during the months of April and May
Interpret customer orders and apply technical and creative principles where needed to ensure high quality deliverable and associated client satisfaction
Communicate with Company Sales Reps and Project Managers on the status of current and upcoming assignments and review earlier deliverables
Provide digital files to the Company’s print operators to facilitate production
Color correct imagery and retouch photography
Understand and adhere to OEM branding/layout/color theory/typography standards and ensure all deliverables are aligned thereto
Maintain current knowledge of the graphic design trends, specifically staying abreast of pertinent technological advances and creative techniques
Follow the direction of and standards/workflows established by the Creative Director and contribute to the enhancement of such standards
Other duties as assigned by Manager/Company Management
REQUIRED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES (include But Are Not Limited To)
Proficiency with Mac based computer systems
Proficient user of Adobe CC including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. After Effects a bonus.
Effective communication skills, both written and oral
Knowledge of graphic design principles & techniques and the ability to apply them in the construal of customer orders to deliver creative, quality products
Detailed, with strong time management and organizational skills
Basic math skills and the ability to read a floorplan is a plus
Critical thinking/problem solving skills
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or related field
3+ years of related with a demonstrated track record of satisfying customers through creative excellence and timely delivery of projects.
Demonstrated successful experience working both autonomously and with others in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong attention to detail
