Position Summary: The Financial Analyst works directly under the supervision of the Assistant Controller to evaluate the consolidated entity and provide information that assists management in making informed decisions. The Financial Analyst is responsible for compiling, organizing, and presenting data that offers key insights regarding the Company’s performance and strategic objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Identifies financial status by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Analyzes past and current financial performance data.
Sets and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.
Recommends strategies for increasing financial performance.
Completes market research and comparable company analyses.
Manipulates large sums of data to provide actionable information.
Answers financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
Provides finance support through ad hoc reporting.
Performs and reviews daily cash forecast and liquidity / working capital needs.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Creates models and forecasts in Excel, Tableau, NetSuite, and other software.
Assists with additional Accounting and Finance projects as necessary.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (A.A.) in Finance or related field.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience required.
Preferred work experience in investment banking or financial analyst in transportation & logistics field.
