The role you’ll contribute: The Director is responsible for operating system-wide support of purchasing processes for AdventHealth Medical Group [AHMG]. Through these processes, the Director will provide support to system-wide financial, clinical, operational, compliance, risk and physician leaders at AHMG to provide strategic and tactical decisions to support growth of the organization. The Director must ensure that all financials, statements, invoices, agreements, terms and quotes are accurate and perform proper due diligence for all processes to coordinate all needs of varied demands for the multiple stakeholders.

The Value You’ll Bring To The Team

Plans and executes policy and processes to accomplish goals within the timeline established.

  • This includes capital equipment requests, centralized invoicing, multiple formulary updates, RFP, contract management, obsolescence planning, capital equipment planning, vendor management processes.
  • Management of daily finance operations for the purchasing department.
  • Effectively communicates purchasing support capabilities and process through professional email, phone and intranet communication.
  • Ensures material and service requirements are met in a timely, efficient, effective and ethical manner for the organization through vendor management and accountability.
  • Management of cross functional relationship of all support departments and operations as needed for finance-related projects/initiatives.
  • Responsible for all corporate-wide clinical/compliance/operational based projects in relation to goods, equipment, supplies or services.

Minimum Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  • Minimum of five years of management-related experience in the healthcare industry
  • Bachelors 5 years' experience.

Preferred Experience

  • Medical group experience
  • Project management
  • Excel skills, time management, and project management skills
