Our client, a global tech consulting firm, is currently hiring for a Director of FP&A to join their multinational and growing team.

Salary/Hourly Rate

$180,000 – $210,000

Position Overview

The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (Director of FP&A) will oversee the development and management of international FP&A projects, processes, and tools. This key role involves communicating financial performance, opportunities, and risks to key stakeholders, including executive leadership and partners. The Director will drive strategic financial planning and provide actionable insights to support decision-making. Reporting directly to the CFO, this leader will serve as a trusted advisor to the company. The ideal Director of FP&A candidate will have extensive global experience and a passion for developing and mentoring a high-performing team. They will foster strong business partnerships across the organization, ensuring that strategic decisions are backed by robust analytics.

Responsibilities Of The Director Of FP&A

  • Lead efforts to identify and implement innovative solutions to drive growth, enhance decision-making, and increase efficiency
  • Provide financial leadership for business functions, analyzing current and future profitability
  • Offer financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making, investment evaluation, and resource allocation
  • Oversee the production and delivery of regular financial reporting and analysis for the CFO and executive team
  • Manage a team in conducting comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling, to evaluate business performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Continuously assess and improve financial planning processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness
  • Develop complex financial models to support strategic projects and provide support to business sponsors of projects, including implementation and ongoing measurement

Qualifications For The Director Of FP&A

  • 10+ years of experience in global financial leadership
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial modeling techniques
  • Experience in talent management, including team development, mentoring, and fostering a high-performance culture
  • Strategic thinker capable of providing forward-looking analysis and recommendations
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence decision-making at all organizational levels

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required
  • MBA is preferred
