Job Description: Business Systems Analyst

Job Purpose:

Collaborate with users and subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand business processes and the specific uses of business applications to meet operational needs.

Tasks/Essential Duties:

  • Support business application users by reviewing and resolving process and application issues.
  • Serve as the liaison between the local entity and the Corporate ERP-IT team.
  • Develop proposals and implementation plans for business system solutions to user needs, including resource requirements (personnel and costs).
  • Drive business system application-related projects to deliver against committed schedules, resolving or escalating issues as needed.
  • Regularly meet with managers and users to evaluate business system performance and develop and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Develop the necessary knowledge base to become the subject matter expert (SME) in the interconnectedness of various business applications (QAD, QAD EQMS, MES, etc.).
  • Follow all relevant policies and procedures (5S, Safety, ARCLA policies, especially IT policies).

Required Profile:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Professional Experience:

  • Expertise in hands-on experience with SQL or other database platforms.

Professional Knowledge:

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Knowledge of maintaining and handling ERP and Quality Systems (QAD and QAD EQMS).
  • Knowledge of integrated and bolt-on production control and quality systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with employees and vendors at all levels.
  • High safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Excellent communication skills within the department as well as with other departments.
  • Dependability on a daily basis.
  • Positive attitude and flexibility.
  • Responsible.

About the Role:

We are an outsourced recruiting firm representing a client seeking a Business Systems Analyst. The successful candidate will support business application users, drive application-related projects, and ensure business system performance. Salary: $90k - $100k
