Job Description

  • Responsible for Programs/Projects from inception to the conclusion of the launch program.
  • Develop standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards.
  • Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action.
  • Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings.
  • Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, specific training and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate with other departments or members in the organization to achieve specified goals/critical deliverables. (Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality and Logistics)
  • Develop and maintain a program timing plan with all key milestones.
  • Track all open issues, conduct review meetings internally and externally with customers, mitigate risks, or resolve issues where possible.
  • Communicate changes to all stakeholders, collect and present cost for modifications to the customer and internal teams.
  • Build rapport and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Conduct process engineering projects and responsibilities throughout Operations departments.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.
  • Comply with all department and company policies, procedures, and programs. Adhere to company values.
  • Required to recognize opportunities for improvement, formulate a problem-solving methodology and execute step level improvements
  • Ability to take on increased responsibility and farther-reaching projects as the progress of the rotation.
  • Solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • The ability to interpret instructions that are written, oral, in a diagram, or schedule form.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Project and maintain professionalism with all levels of employees and management, customers, and vendors.

  • Bachelor's Degree (Engineering) for Entry-Level role preferred; we would consider some key certifications with up to 3-5 years of automotive or quality manufacturing experience.
  • Excellent Strategic Planning, communication, and interpersonal skills for both internal/external stakeholders
  • Team player with proven ability to forge and maintain good working relationships with customers, coworkers, and vendors.
  • Intermediate proficiency with software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and technical presentation capability is required.
  • Automotive OEM, PM, Manufacturing, Quality (APQP) is required
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
  • Bilingual in Korean a plus
