Assistant Graphic Designer, Men's Apparel

KITH is seeking a passionate and creative Assistant Graphic Designer who has experience in creating graphics for apparel and is interested in joining a team of talented graphic designers.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Work and report alongside graphic designer and head of design across multiple projects in a fast paced environment.

- Manage and assist on tech packs for the graphics department, specifically SMU.

- Assisting graphic designer on creating mood boards, saving inspiration, and direction for project kick-offs.

- Assist on the product development of graphic styles by understanding BOMs and product lifecycle processes.

- Assist team with factory communications and organization of labels & hang tags/samples as they are internally reviewed.

- Assist in being a liaison across all teams working on special projects in regards to labels, hang tags, samples, and co-brand compliance and being a point of contact for all teams working with Special Projects.

- Attend weekly design meetings and recap with graphic designer.

- Experience and understanding of PLM

Experience:

- Equipped with 1-3 year(s) experience in apparel graphics in the fashion industry

- Experience designing graphics and application of graphics to apparel

-Strong ability to create original graphics, wordmarks, and logos that consistently fit within the brand's aesthetic

- Understanding of tee development with the ability to tech pack/launch approved designs with a factory using a PLM software

- Experience and knowledge of product development process/calendar/timelines.

- Ability to manage multiple project with strong organization skills and meet deadlines.

- Experienced in fashion terminologies, product development and design.

- Exceptional communicator with strong intrapersonal skills.

- Proficient in Google Sheets, Excel, PLM systems, Adobe Suite.
