On the odd weekend, I participate in volunteer beach cleans at various locations local to Brighton. I see this as an opportunity to keep our beaches clean and safe while protecting the diverse range of marine wildlife that live in our oceans. Overfishing and litter means that a lot of these species need to flourish once again, and taking part in these beach cleans will help towards securing their future.
