Receiving our prize from Mayor Bloomberg himself, Scene Near Me was honored by the City of New York as part of the NYC Big Apps competition, which encourages app makers to use city data. Scene Near Me alerts users when they are near a famous film shoot.
In addition to helping create Scene Near Me, I ran the social media marketing campaign that won us enough votes for this prize.
