    "As Manager of Wendy’s Customer Care Operations, I support the team that supports our customers. The most important part of my job is to make sure our team of Customer Care Advocates are empowered and have the resources they need to take care of our fans – whether they are looking for information, had a less than perfect Wendy’s experience, or want to pay one of our amazing restaurant teams a compliment. The best part of my job is the satisfaction of resolving a problem or being able to help a customer. That might sound cheesy, but we have some customers call and you can tell they're being genuine – so we need to make things right by them. Whenever I tell someone that I work for Wendy’s, I see this smile in their eyes. It’s almost like they’re thinking, 'I know Wendy’s and you work for Wendy’s. Cool!' That gives me the most pride. Not that long ago, it was just a few other colleagues and me answering the customer service line. But today, with the incredible growth of our brand, I’m proud to see how our team has grown to support it – and I’m especially proud to now lead it! I'm excited about the future of Wendy’s.     "As an HR Manager living and working in London, when people ask about my job, I explain that I enable Wendy’s international markets to grow and expand through People – from planning and finding to coaching and developing. I grew up in the United States, which is where I began my career journey with Wendy’s. In 2021, I was offered a temporary HR assignment to support the brand’s expansion into the UK. That assignment eventually became permanent, and I loved it here so much that I moved to London to continue supporting the market. Since then, I’ve met my (now) husband and built a whole life I could never have imagined. This new life started with an opportunity from Wendy’s, and I’ll be forever grateful for this experience. Human Resources is a complex discipline, because people are complex. Then when you layer in other cultures and norms, my job deals me new challenges every day. I really like proving to myself that I can do difficult things well and nail it on the first try. People really are the magic at Wendy’s. We are a magnet for values-driven people who want to do things the right way and win the right way as a team. We're also a friendly bunch, but make no mistake – we're super competitive too! Being a Wendy’s brand ambassador comes with quite a bit of responsibility. Whether I’m interviewing a job candidate or meeting new people who could become customers, I have an opportunity to shape Wendy’s reputation as we become more of a household name abroad.     As we continue to grow the Wendy’s brand around the world, we’re also excited to continue growing our global Restaurant Support team! Earlier this week, we welcomed more than 40 team members who recently joined our organization to Wendy’s Welcome to the Family onboarding experience. This event provides an opportunity to learn about our different business functions, create relationships with other new hires at Wendy’s and Quality Supply Chain Co-op, Inc., and network with Company leadership. We’re excited to welcome these new faces to the team and are proud they chose to start a career with us!
