About us

SRO Motorsports Group has specialised in the promotion and organisation of motorsport series since 1995. Although it has managed single-seater series in the past, SRO is primarily concerned with GT racing, with whose revival in the 1990’s SRO was inextricably linked. SRO has offices in London, Paris and Liège. Recent years have seen SRO step out of most of the national and single-make series it was running, going from a maximum of 14 different series at one point to concentrate on the Blancpain GT Series, which combined the existing Blancpain Endurance Series with the former FIA GT sprint series into a single entity as well as the increasingly successful British GT Championship. With the confirmed success of programmes launching in 2015, such as the GT Sports Club for amateur drivers, the Ultracar Sports Club for the most spectacular machines, the SRO Race Centre at Paul Ricard in association with Michel Mhitarian and the new partnership with Sepang International Circuit on the Sepang 12 Hours, SRO continues its development and is fully in gear for the next 20 years. 2016 will also see SRO launching the all new Intercontinental GT Challenge; bringing together one major endurance race, where GT3 is the leading category, from each continent. SRO Motorsports Group is chaired by company founder and CEO Stephane Ratel, who, working with a team of full-time staff and freelancers worldwide, and with the support of the Royal Automobile Club of Belgium, is one of the most respected personalities in the motorsport industry.
