Energy hubs are centralized networks with numerous processes, interfaces, inputs, and by-products aimed toward maximizing green hydrogen production at scale. Each energy hub is integrated into an even more complex hydrogen network that includes generation, energy storage, and transporting different energy vectors. Our very own Christopher Banks interviewed Harriet Fox-Bekerman, Senior Project Engineer for the Net Zero Technology Centre, to learn more about the potential of low-emission hydrogen: https://bit.ly/3WwGmPx

Technical employees often want to continue using their expertise throughout their careers rather than moving into management positions. Our technical development program recognizes this value by enabling professionals to manage their career progression while growing their technical knowledge and leadership. In this article, Pearl Chu and Cara Hunter, two of the SLB leaders in this area, describe how by developing non-managerial growth programs, you can empower the technical experts who power your company: https://lnkd.in/gxqy3SuH

We're pleased to announce that we’ve been awarded a contract from Equinor for the front-end engineering design (FEED) of a 12-well, all-electric Subsea Production Systems (SPS) project in the Fram Sør field, offshore Norway. This project is a significant step forward in the wide-scale global adoption of electric subsea technology, setting new standards for increased operator control, subsea operational efficiency, and reduced offshore emissions. This project is the first to implement a joint industry project on electrification technology. "Electrification is vital to the future of subsea operations in the energy transition," said Mads Hjelmeland, chief executive officer of SLB OneSubsea. "This technology has effectively created the IoT for subsea trees, providing operators with improved control through live performance and condition monitoring. We are grateful for the collaboration with Equinor and the other joint-industry partners over the past six years that has made this milestone possible."
