Thanks for the recap!
Autonomous Driving Meetup #4 BERLIN "Berlin, Du bist so wunderbar" by Kaiserbase is the song I have in mind when I travel to Berlin. The brand new IBM office in Berlin in the Ella-Trebe-Street close to the main railway station is also very "wunderbar". SKO 3Q/2024 filled the office with many well known faces and Bernd Albrecht gave me a private tour. A 20min walk to the #HERE offices and at 6:30 PM the 6th floor was also filled with lot of people. Thanks Felix Friedmann for all the work to organize the meetup and the speakers Roman Rokytskyy, Luca Gasbarro, Bjarne Johannsen, Venkat Subramanyam and HERE for hosting the event. The AV 2.0 revolution is underway don't overlook the new trends! #1 – CVPR 2024 and the Winner is Hydra-MDP NVIDIA Hydra-MDP model is the winner of the CVPR Autonomous Grand Challenge for End-to-End Driving 2024 https://lnkd.in/eHjHaiPA End-to-End Driving at Scale with Hydra-MDP https://lnkd.in/ennUCxWG Paper: https://lnkd.in/eD_yarb2 Code: https://lnkd.in/ecptYz_S #2 - More CVPR 2024 CVPR 2024 - FM4AS Workshop 07/2024 https://lnkd.in/e-y8eWBj CVPR24 FM4AS | Alex Kendall, Wayve: Building Embodied AI to be Safe and Scalable https://lnkd.in/eSGMiXB9 #3 - More Wayve - Vision language action models for autonomous driving Join Oleg Sinavski, Principal Applied Scientist at Wayve, as he presents the latest advancements in autonomous driving through Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models. Learn how Wayve integrates visual perception with natural language processing to create explainable, end-to-end driving systems. https://lnkd.in/ejdCQnTV Highlights of the session include: - An overview of Wayve's innovative Lingo-1 and Lingo-2 models. - The ability of VLA models to interpret complex driving scenarios and generate actionable commands. - Demonstrations of these models in real-world applications. - The challenges and solutions in developing autonomous vehicles that can reason and act like humans. - Discover the future of autonomous driving technology with insights from a leading expert in the field. #autonomousdriving #automotive #meetup #ibm #berlin

Thank you Isaac Kargar for the excellent writeup of LLaDA (Large Language Driving Assistant), an #LLM network presented at #CVPR2024 this week by NVIDIA Research.
Co-Founder and CIO @ Resoniks | Machine Learning Expert | Data Scientist | MLOps | Data Engineering | Self-Driving Cars & Robotics
I just published the next blog post in the "LLMs in Autonomous Driving" series. In this post, I review the work published by NVIDIA DRIVE Labs entitled Large Language Driver Assistant (LLaDA) in #CVPR2024. LLaDA uses large language models (LLMs) to make driving policies (for both human drivers and autonomous vehicles) more adaptable to local traffic rules and unexpected situations in different regions.
