Today, July 19th is International Karaoke Day. 🎤 If you love this activity, today is the perfect time to dig out the microphone and let your vocal cords roar! 🦁 Karaoke is a dearly loved and important element for us Musopians, as the original core idea of our apps evolved from karaoke. ❤️ It’s not the most straightforward task when someone asks you, "Please play my favorite song", at a party with a guitar and many eager singers. You’re supposed to attempt to remember both the guitar chords and the lyrics, which usually fails after 15 seconds of trying. So, we wanted to create something for guitarists that singers already had: an easy-to-play guitar karaoke player! 🎤 There are easy chords for guitarists, lyrics for singers and backing tracks for all. 🎼 Nowadays, you can find karaoke in our guitar and ukulele apps. 🎸 We continue to love karaoke, and you can find Musopians in the karaoke bars across Helsinki (or other cities) with 99% certainty, especially after company gatherings. 🧑🎤 Hooray for karaoke! 🤩 https://lnkd.in/dScE_kXx

Back in March 2023, we had the joy of sitting down with Nashville-based pop/R&B artist Jenane McCulloch. 🎙️ We delved into her inspiring music journey and how she is building a career as a musician in Nashville while chasing her dreams and ambitions. 💖 Part of her music journey involved picking up the ukulele, which she used to accompany her singing, with the help of our Kala App. 🎸 In the interview, she shared the big news of her own music coming out soon. Our house-band The Musopians was missing a proper flamenco guitar, so we visited Denia Music, a instrument shop with a nice selection of Spanish guitars. Our classic guitar specialist Tuomas choosed a model and it was tested immediately by the flute & flamenco department of the Musopians (in this case maybe better not to share the audio file/video 😂)
