Our team installed precast panels for a pump station superstructure. This project was an expansion of the existing Stormwater Treatment Area 1 West (STA 1W) complex in Palm Beach County, FL. A Liebherr LR 1400 Crane with a 140-foot reach was utilized, in order to allow us to install each of the roughly 60,000-pound panels from one side of the building. This work is part of a larger project that includes two new pump stations and a new canal, all aimed at providing additional water quality treatment to the western and eastern flow-ways of STA 1W. The photo was submitter to EMCOR Nation by our Assistant Project Manager Basel Alzahrawi.
