We are deeply saddened by the recent passing of Tom Gibson on April 14th. Tom was the former 3rd generation owner of Gibson Electric, serving as Gibson's President from 1964 until its acquisition by EMCOR in 1992. Tom was instrumental in helping grow Gibson from a small residential outfit to one of Chicagoland's premier providers of commercial construction. More importantly, Tom was a caring and thoughtful leader who embodied the company values we hold today. He was incredibly supportive of Gibson well after the acquisition, and he cared deeply for every employee in the Gibson Family. These photos of Tom come from our 100th Anniversary Celebration. Our heart goes out to his family and loved ones.

The EMCOR Safety Quality Productivity team recently hosted a BCSP Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC) class in the Chicago area attended by Field Foreman, Supervisors, Safety Professionals, and even one Vice President. It was a one day training class followed by the BCSP-STSC Exam the next day.
