ERG is a leader in the climate adaptation space. Congrats to ERG’s Diana Pietri, Ph.D., Lindy Lowe, and AnnaClaire Marley, who shared their expertise as panel speakers at the 2024 National Adaptation Forum. The team highlighted valuable information discussing the importance of nature-based solution projects, funding and implementation strategies, and the challenges of tracking climate performance metrics. #NAF2024 #ClimateAdaptation
ERG recently attended the 2024 National Adaption Forum in Saint Paul, Minnesota, which convenes adaptation professions to innovate and network on climate adaptation issues. ERG led a panel discussion titled “Nature as Critical Climate Infrastructure: Funding and Governance Strategies to Catalyze Large-Scale Action” with representatives from the County of Sonoma, TNC, and Blue Forest. ERG’s Diana Pietri, Ph.D. and Lindy Lowe led the panel discussion, covering the importance of nature-based solutions (NBS) in climate adaptation and methods for funding and implementing large-scale NBS projects regionally. ERG’s AnnaClaire Marley also presented on the importance and difficulties of developing and tracking climate performance metrics. ERG’s direct experience with implementing climate resilience and mitigation approaches provided valuable practitioner insight and lessons learned to inform best practices and share with others at the National Adaptation Forum.
