We're taking you back to the 1970s! During this decade CEC's high-power amplifiers were instrumental in advancing scientific discovery by enabling cutting-edge particle physics experiments at prestigious U.S. national laboratories such as Los Alamos, Fermilab, Brookhaven, and others. Our team began setting the standard for utilizing this advanced technology, which is now used in everyday applications. Up next is the 1980s! Can you guess what milestone we achieved during this decade? Let us know below. #CEC #Amplifiers #Science #RFInnovation

New Series Alert! We are excited to take you on a journey through Continental Electronics' history with our new timeline series! First up is the year 1938, when our founder, J.O. Weldon, built the first 500kW transmitter using the Doherty Amplifier. This was not only a pivotal moment in history, but it also made 500kW transmitters efficient and affordable in radio broadcasting, revolutionizing the technology in the U.S. and, ultimately, the world. Stay tuned for more flashbacks in time to learn more about Continental Electronics and our journey over the years! #ContinentalElectronics #500kWTransmitters #Broadcast #Radio #DohertyAmplifier

On Memorial Day this year, our CEC team paid tribute with one of our members, Mary Border, whose son, Staff Sgt. Jeremie “JBO” Border, sacrificed his life for our country. We had the privilege of honoring him at the annual Carry the Load walk, and we will always appreciate his dedication to our country and his role in keeping us safe.
