The Endowment identifies and funds the most effective organizations that help unemployed veterans find great careers.
About us
The Call of Duty Endowment is a non-profit foundation co-founded by Bobby Kotick, the CEO of Activision Blizzard, and helps veterans find high-quality careers by supporting groups that prepare them for the job market and by raising awareness of the value vets bring to the workplace. Since 2009, the Endowment has funded the placement of more than 50,000 veterans into jobs, with average starting salaries in 2018 of over $58,000, 1.9x the national median. Our goal is to place 100,000 veterans in high-quality jobs by 2024. The Endowment uses a performance-driven approach to fund organizations delivering the highest standards of quality and cost-efficient veteran job placement services. Beyond funding, we also partner with our grantees to provide an array of advice and support aimed at maximizing their impact.

We couldn't agree more! This is why it's important to reach out right away for help with employment and why we are proud to partner with you and Hire Heroes USA.
I saw this quote yesterday in a report about veteran transition, and I couldn't help but wonder about the unintentional harm a quote like this might cause. When working with corporate partners to help them overcome a military skills translation gap, we often emphasize the people and leadership focused traits and competencies that veterans bring. Their learning agility, drive and determination, ability to handle stressful situations... And this quote in some ways says the opposite. The challenge that I think this quote means to evoke is that leaving any kind of institutionalized system and close knit culture is difficult; you have to re-learn every way of operating and interacting. It's managed with awareness, preparation, and personalized support. Building integrated systems that provide that level of support, connection, and opportunity enables companies and communities to see the best of what veterans and military families can provide. Those are the outcomes we want to get to.

Meet Robert, U.S. Navy veteran who unexpectedly found himself jobless after 19 years. A Career Specialist at VetJobs provided him with the support needed, and he immediately received multiple offers in law enforcement. Thank you for your service, Robert!

This year’s Military Appreciation Month campaign would not have been possible without the support of Julie Torres and the Product Marketing Team at Sledgehammer Games. She helped bring the #CODEKnightRecon to life, making it our most successful Military Appreciation Month in-game pack to date. Thanks again to you and the team, Julie!

Senior Director, Corporate Social Responsibility & Call of Duty Endowment Marketing at Activision Blizzard
This May, the Call of Duty Endowment had an action-packed Military Appreciation Month. 🎮 Players participated in the U Assist Veterans Challenge presented by USAA and allocated the full $1M donation from Activision Blizzard to the Endowment. 🙌 Griffin Catalyst and Citadel founder, Ken Griffin, donated 2.5M to help fund the placement of 4k+ veterans into high-quality jobs. 🛡 The Endowment launched the C.O.D.E. Knight Recon Tracer Pack. All proceeds from the pack are donated directly to support our mission to place vets in the U.S. and U.K. into jobs. And as a special thank you for their service, USAA gave pack codes to U.S. active-duty service members and veterans 🇬🇧 Activision further demonstrated its commitment to veterans by signing the Armed Forces Covenant pitch-side at the Babcock Trophy. ⚾ The Endowment partnered with the Texas Rangers for a Call of Duty Endowment theme night in celebration of Military Appreciation Month. Adolis Garcia wore custom Endowment cleats and crushed a home run in the 6th inning. 🏆 The Endowment’s 2023 Military Appreciation Month campaign, #LootforGood, won the Ad Age Creativity Award in the Best Work for Good category. Thank you to everyone who made Military Appreciation Month a success and helped make a difference in the lives of veterans! Especially to the Call of Duty Team who supported these efforts and to our incredible agency partners OS Studios - A Project Worldwide Agency, Aspect , rEvolution, and Step 3 PR for helping us bring these campaigns to life. #MilitaryAppreciationMonth #Veterans #CallofDuty

Swinging for the fences ⚾ In support of military veterans 🎖 Last night, Texas Rangers fans were treated to home runs, hot dogs and hard-hitting action in support of the Call of Duty Endowment for Military Appreciation Night. Lucky fans received a custom Adolis Garcia bobblehead shown plating up for action as he is an avid Call of Duty player. And El Bombi equipped his Endowment cleats before racking up the first home run of the evening, 2 RBIs and one run to contribute to the Rangers' victory. An incredible branded collaboration thanks to Parker Neiman and Ben Collincini to share our mission of employing veterans around the horn. #MilitaryAppreciationMonth #veterans #callofduty #baseball
