The Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI) is a community of technology, publishing, and creative companies restoring transparency of content on the internet. AREA 17 defined the brand strategy, content strategy, and brand identity to clarify value proposition, audience, messaging, and relationships across Adobe, CAI, the C2PA open technical specification, Content Credentials, and CAI open-source tools and Verify tooling. This was critical ahead of launching their most revolutionary open-source technology, Content Credentials leading up to the 2024 election when AI, deep fakes, and other misinformation are prevalent. Content Credentials is an icon designed by the Content Authenticity Initiative to indicate verified content across the Internet. Our work clarifies the icon’s meaning and significance and simplifies its understanding for everyday users. We helped CAI effectively communicate the technology’s value in a visually, verbally, and behaviorally cohesive manner. Read more about the project in our case study: https://lnkd.in/exh7UDGN

In 2017, Gleamer pioneered the future of medical imaging by putting medical-grade AI capabilities into the hands of radiologists. Today, their technology has become one of the world's most adopted AI solutions. In order to fulfil their ambition of global expansion, AREA 17 collaborated on a new brand and website. The aim was to expand the brand beyond a tool suite to a holistic platform and shift it from a service provider to an actual partner for clinicians. To do this, we addressed clinicians' concerns and positioned Gleamer as a 'copilot for doctors' or a second pair of eyes, focusing on patient outcomes, doctor empowerment, and healthcare transformation. In case you missed it: ‘It’s personal: passion-propelled creations’ at our New York Clubhouse. Last month, we welcomed panelists and guests into our space to explore the passions that fuel creativity and fill our work with purpose. Here are some of our takeaways: 1. Passion can be a physical feeling in the gut, an obsession, or an eternal curiosity. However you define it, passion drives creation. 2. Personal and professional work are not mutually exclusive. Personal projects can lead to new professional opportunities or even become a career of their own. 3. Aligning passions with clients is crucial for building strong partnerships. If a client is equally passionate about the work, you can build a much stronger product together. 4. Make space and take in the world around you when you feel your passion waning. It might be time to explore something new and let go of the old interests. 5. Passion can be a meditation. Everyone has their own practice that fuels their passion—and vice versa. Thank you again for joining us Andrew Zuckerman (https://lnkd.in/e5qX_43Z); Eden Weingart (https://edenweingart.com/); Giorgia Lupi (https://giorgialupi.com/); Guillermo Brotons (https://lnkd.in/eF6m_c9T); Ruxandra Duru (https://lnkd.in/er87qJvv). We are looking forward to organizing future events at our Clubhouse!

HARI is a France-based animation studio that brings audiences together through characters and stories, inspiring laughter and optimism. They came to AREA 17 to create a new brand and website and position it as a global consumer-facing company in original animated family TV, film, and licensing as it approached its 20th anniversary. HARI needed to define a visual language to distinguish its design and animation philosophy and propel it from being a boutique studio to a global player. We created a character-driven brand that acts as a connecting thread, weaving diverse characters into a single universe to help HARI articulate a distinct artistic identity, showcasing its creative work and full-service studio capabilities.
