InnoGames GmbH today announced the appointment of Sebastian Goldt as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Goldt is being promoted from his previous position as Director of Growth and succeeds Felix Janzen, who will be taking on a new challenge outside the games industry. Goldt will be responsible for all marketing activities and will ensure that the developer and publisher of hits such as "Tribal Wars" and "Forge of Empires" continues to expand its position among the leading German games companies. Goldt will report directly to CEO and co-founder Hendrik Klindworth.
Canteen, event space and 24-hour gym included: Hamburg's largest game developer is once again renting out office space in its own headquarters in the Hammerbrook district of Hamburg. Thanks to terms starting from one month, affordable flat-rate rents, flexible options and optional full services, the aim is to attract young companies in particular who are not yet willing to take a major risk to an office community.

Longevity pays off! InnoGames is proud to announce that it’s iconic strategy game Forge of Empires has surpassed €1 billion in lifetime revenues. Forge of Empires was launched in March 2012 and currently has over 130 million registered players. It is enjoyed by players around the world and is one of the mainstay free-to-play games in the strategy and simulation genre.
The year is 2003. Netflix is sending DVDs by mail. Myspace has gone live, and the first Call of Duty is hitting the shelves. In the same year, Hendrik and Eike Klindworth and Michael Zillmer publish the browser-based empire-building strategy game "Tribal Wars” and create the basis for InnoGames GmbH, founded in 2007.
Hamburg-based game developer InnoGames is undertaking a comprehensive strategic organizational realignment to secure its position as a competitive leader in the gaming industry in a changing market landscape. The transformation will help the company reach more players with innovative game concepts and make its work on its current games more efficient.
In cooperation with Gamecity Hamburg and Hamburg-based institutions of higher education, InnoGames has already given away 100 Hamburg Games Conference tickets to students majoring in games. Following the motto "first come - first serve", students of all disciplines can now secure one of another 100 tickets.
