Garry’s Mod is a sandbox mod for the Source Engine. Unlike normal games there aren't any predefined aims or goals. Players are given tools and are left to entertain themselves.
The player is in a world where objects can be created and destroyed on demand. Where people can be created and destroyed with the click of a mouse. A world made for him. A world he made.

Additions
I added 4 GMod 12 Toybox maps, aswell as a new default sandbox map in the Sandbox section.
Removal
I removed 682m_assemble, as it's a relic of a time when I was just getting into modding and mapping. the other sandbox maps won't be removed, but will be reworked to fit in with the style of the new 682m_complex.

i agree with angelangel it is a great mod :)
Don't listen to all of the inexperienced users below, who've obviously never played Gmod. It is great. Once you get the hang of model posing (hint: the {use} key can be very useful here) it's pretty easy.

Wow, stop hating GMod10, it's a fun game to play with and involves activities with friends and the surrounding community.
A ps3 worth while? Now I have heard everything. Garry's mod is great fun in my opinion and if you give it a chance you would probably find it fun too.

This "game" really should not be called a game at all.....
The fact of it all is that it has stupid one player side quests that you can do if you enjoy rolling a melon around......
The whole model posing crap is lame, because craptastic garrysmod comic websites like facepunchstudios and phwcomics expect you to waste an hour posing a model..........
The point I am trying to make is do not waste your money on this sorry excuse for a game. Why not go out and buy something worth while like BF2142 or a PS3 or something.

Rolling a melon around? Model posing crap lame? Are you even trying? Or do just not understand how to use gmod? I must admit, it takes a while to get used to it, but once you get the hang of it i think you would regret what you said.
