Garry’s Mod is a sandbox mod for the Source Engine. Unlike normal games there aren't any predefined aims or goals. Players are given tools and are left to entertain themselves.
The player is in a world where objects can be created and destroyed on demand. Where people can be created and destroyed with the click of a mouse. A world made for him. A world he made.

Additions
I added 4 GMod 12 Toybox maps, aswell as a new default sandbox map in the Sandbox section.
Removal
I removed 682m_assemble, as it's a relic of a time when I was just getting into modding and mapping. the other sandbox maps won't be removed, but will be reworked to fit in with the style of the new 682m_complex.

only the really outdated versions are free to download and require , and I MEAN require Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike: Source and Team Fortress 2

how do i get Gmod 10?
It's G-Mod 13 now, and you have to purchase it from Steam. Though you must own another Source Engine game for it to work (a.k.a. Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike: Source etc.).
they have now changed that! you don't need to own any other games! it is now stand-alone! (so technically it should be called Garry's game, BUT everyone knows it as garry's mod so yeah!)
You can buy it but you will need css, hl2 ep1/ep2 for all of their textures. Unless you like to see you npc's and vehicles in purple and black with errors everywhere
Oh, well I didn't know, since I got it before that.
