Seems alright. Not sure if rush is able to make up for how weak the body's are though, and for a quick removal spell, I'd usually prefer to just lightning bolt, but it's a better turn 1 response play vs a turn 1 2/1 at least.
I'm torn on this one. From a value standpoint, this is atrocious. In a vacuum, this card just doesn't stack up to other classes 4 stats for 1 mana cards. However, it is incredibly flexible and if a Shaman deck ever runs flametongue and direwolf, this gets a whole lot better.
I really love the high skill cap on this card too. Not that a high skill cap makes it any better, but could be good for the game to have a card like this in the meta.
Very good card. Seems like a lot of people under value it so far. Lots of potential in shaman.1 mana, 2 buffable pings. This is very good for board control. I don't understand the hate that I see for it. Overload hurts a bit but I think would be too strong w/o it.
Without the overload, this is too good. 2 1/1s for 1 mana has been meta a number of times and with rush in a class like shaman it would be way too strong.
As a main shaman player, this card is meh right now. It seems to be very good at making great synergy with Flametongue Totem and Dire Wolf Alpha, but it won't see play at all since even shaman requires even-cost card only. If this card has charge, it would be op to be combined with Bloodlust and it would be powerful as the old Force of Nature does!
It's just a pack filler I guess, but if there are more or new synergies with his card, this card would be on the next level.

You're probably right (Turn 1 Voltaic, turn 2 Flametongue), but I think with overload it's too weak. It's in an unfortunate 1.5 mana spot imo.
I'm having trouble understanding how this is supposed to compete with Lightning Bolt; it costs the same but deals less damage, and can't be used on Heroes for a turn.
I bet the Sparks would be Elementals, but the only way I could take advantage of that would be by casting Earthen Might on one of them. I could also combine them with Flametongue Totem or Fungalmancer for a solid damage burst. Most of these options sound like too much setup to be worth it, though.

It should never be setup, you use this card to combo only with the Flametongue Totem or Dire Wolf Alpha alone (or even better if you play other minions for tempo play with this spell while totem or wolf is alive), also there aren't a lot of synergies with this card yet, we just need to wait for this expansion to reveal more cards or in the future. For now there's nothing fancy to see about this card. Yeah most of your point sounds right.

Hi
Hey, that's not bad!
Overload: (1)
Oh...
Rare? Why?
Flametongue totem's new best friend right here.

Taking 1 mana overload on turn 1 is just too much, but I guess on turn 3 with flametongue this could be playable. Doesn't look too good.
Shaman overload get 1 more technical card
