Sorry this book disappointed you Emily especially since you couldn't see yourself finishing the series. I recently decided to not finish a series too. There are plenty of other books for us all to read.

I agree. To be honest I found the story relating to kidnap and sacrifice of a toddler rather unnecessary and upsetting. I know Paul doesn’t do “Harry Potter” style magic, but I really didn’t like this. I shan’t be reading anymore either.
