it was amazing
Read 2 times. Last read December 31, 2019 to September 30, 2020.

This was a hard book to read as a black man!The greed and brutality of Leopold was unbelievable I simply cried almost every page I turned.

Killing people in masses without any regard he took everything from Congo lives and resources.Sad but instrumental in also understanding how and why the Congo even today faces such atrocities because Leopold showed how take both lives and resources in the the Congo.
