Post apocalyptic is definitely my jam but after reading so many, some of them start blending into each other.
This one reminded me A LOT (like way too much) of The Passage. Both good but not amazing.
Now I need to check the movie!

I really enjoyed this but found the movie disappointing. Mostly because my favourite part was the human interactions and analysis of human nature and I thought that was missing from the movie.
