Inequality is growing; the poorer countries are getting poorer, and the richer, more wealthy. In many countries the gap between needs and peaceful means of satisfying them is widening dangerously.
I believe that in history failure is never final--provided it is not accepted in advance as final. In history one has to start over and over again. That is the way great things are brought about. We can be thankful for small advances, but we cannot be satisfied with them.
Man does determine his destiny. This I firmly believe.
