85 nonfiction, 72 fiction, and 5 books of poetry for a total of 54,820 pages.
39 five-star reads / 64 four-star reads 64 books by female authors / 96 by male authors
Statistically, I was satisfied with 25% of my books being five star reads, 40% four star reads, and only 3% were one star reads (5 books).
This was my second Goodreads yearly reading challenge, and I tripled my count from last year (50 books). Overall, it was a very enjoyable literary year, and my average rating was 3.8.
I credit a severe media diet, and lack of impetus to intermingle with warmbloods.
Somehow I managed double digit book counts for every month except November.
Next year, I'm aiming for longer books, more classics, more five star reads, and more books written by women.

I went on a restricted social media diet and read more instead, a trend I plan to continue.
48 books and 18,219 pages—next year, I'm shooting for 52 ... and a detailed review of each. (There's still time to finish my reviews this year, right?) I also want to push myself to read outside my comfort zone, and consume more difficult books.
