A mixed bag, as these things always are, albeit from a venture that deserves our support. Maybe the tales veer a little too much towards fey self-absorption for my liking; a little too much concentration on sentence rather than story - but since when was being literate a stick to beat people with? Sci-fi (which this largely is, sort of) is the literature of ideas, and there are plenty here. I particularly enjoyed Steven Fischer’s two tales. There’s also one of mine in there...
