Adam Smith was brilliantly right about the division of work as a condition sine qua for productivity growth, and progresses in income and well-being. But, in doing so, he adhered to the theory of work value of things, in which he was followed by Marx. Both were wrong, as the theory of use value of things would prove by the middle of 19th century. Also, Smith theory of the absolute comparative advantages was wrong?

I am 32 and am very perplexed about the economics of the world and how it operates, to begin with I am starting with this book as it seems to be a fundamental book on economics, I would like to however know, what should be the amount of time I should budget to finish it? I read like 10 pages/ hour of a normal book. But being the complex financial book it is I may require more time. So, how much time did you take?
