Ubisoft Earns More on PC Than on PS4
Ubisoft has published a report with its financial results. In the last quarter, PC games had the largest share in the publisher's revenues. In addition, The Division 2 is the biggest bestseller of the year.
Ubisoft has shared a report with financial results for the first quarter of the financial year 2019-2020, i.e. the period from Apri 1l to June 30, 2019. Company's revenue was EUR 363.4 million, down 9.2% year on year. Nevertheless, the publisher is satisfied, as it has managed to exceed internal forecasts.
Breakdown of revenue by platform
Traditionally, the publisher also provided information on the share of particular platforms in generated revenue. It is worth noting that PC proved to be the leader in this ranking. This is all the more interesting because in the case of Ubisoft the first place for a long time belonged to PlayStation 4.

Ubisoft also boasts that Assassin's Creed Odyssey is much more popular and earns more than Assassin's Creed Origins in the same time after its release. In addition, the company announced that Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is the best-selling game of the year, beating the titles of competitive publishers.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege is also a great game. In the first quarter of the financial year 2019-2020, the title was performing better than in the corresponding period of the previous year, both in terms of the number of players and revenues.
This quarter will not bring premieres of any superproductions, but fans of Ubisoft should have no reasons to complain. The publisher intends to release Sunken Treasure and Botanica DLC to Anno 1800 by the end of September, while Assassin's Creed Odyssey will receive an educational expansion called Discovery Mode. New seasons for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege and For Honor are also in the pipeline.
