Life By You won't be released on June 4. Mattias Lilja, deputy CEO of Paradox Interactive, has announced that the release of the highly anticipated early access life simulator has been postponed to a later time.

For now, the publisher hasn't even provided an approximate new date when Life By You would debut on the market. Lilja only promised that the developers will try to share information on this topic as soon as possible.

Postponing the release is always difficult for players, especially when the publisher announces it just 2 weeks before the release and doesn't even bother to provide a new date. Lilja didn't go into details about the reasons for this decision. He only noted that the game requires additional time for development.

We can only guess that Paradox wants to avoid another disappointing premiere. Premature launches can destroy even the most promising titles, as demonstrated by Cities: Skylines 2 and Victoria 3. Especially since both games still haven't regained the players' trust, especially the game of Colossal Order studio.

Nonetheless, some fans have concerns about the future of Life By You. In June, the title wouldn't have much competition, but there are many rivals on the horizon in the life simulator market. InZOI, Paralives, Vivaland, and above all Project Rene are games that are set to reach players in the coming years or even months.
